RISE OF A TIME FOR PERSONAL RIGHTS!

“The consumer court throws out complaint against Haryana bus driver for smoking.” Isn’t this the best news you’ve heard in a while? Kudos to the consumer court, honestly. You have one up in our books and  in the books of all smokers over the country too. A little background on what the incident was… A Hisar native complained about a bus driver smoking, saying that it made him feel uncomfortable and it’s an offense to smoke in public. However, the consumer court dismissed this complaint as smoking is a personal choice. We personally think this is such a progressive step not just for the country but for all of us as human beings. It’s refreshing to see authority take the side of an individual and his right, instead of trying to be unnecessarily righteous. Smokers have been through so much from being banned at certain places to being ridiculed for trying to relive some stress to being called out on every platform ever when Covid-19 hit.
